he portrays himself in this "gotcha" mode. example, "dear candidate, what is the name of the russian president successor?" fair enuf. but then to posit the hypothetical that, "what would you as US PREZ do if Russia says it is going into Kosovo to take back the country that declared independence from Serbia?"

that is BULLSHIT Question. if Tim Russert knew anything himself about Russia politics then he would know:

this makes it clear to me that Tim Russert does NOT know foreign affairs! the hypothetical question he gave Obama was RIDICULOUS, and in fact is contrary to reality. he is more interested in HYPERBOLE and TV ratings than truth. shame on you Tim!
