Yes one does wonder what the ship engineer is doing, I would think there would be a rather huge bilge pump mounted in everyplace a fellow could find to put one. In the olden days those mechanical areas would have been painted up so you could eat off them, but alas no more, that leak could have been a lot worse....well we'll see what happens next week when they get stuck in the ice flow....
