    DE Fuel Prices

    I just don't get it. Today I got fuel at the shell on Concord Pike and paid $2.79 a gallon for diesel. I get back down to the beach and the shell in Rehoboth has it at $1.99. Why is it almost a dollar more in Wilmington when you can almost see the refinery from the gas pump up there???

    This past Friday night I got fuel @ the cost of $1.96 a gal for diesel. After driving the kids al over town that night, Saturday morning 10 hours later I went back for more fuel. The price had gone up to $2.17 a gal. How can that be????? 21 cents a gal over night, and on a weekend night. I'm sorry but I didn't know that they traded fuel prices on the weekend!

    on the gas side niel, as you know 1.82 in rehoboth, 1.95 just down the road from me, it makes no sense.

    Diesel up here in Pa. is 2.14 and last weekend at the Dash-In at Rt.24 and Rt.5 was 1.99..............I gave up trying to figure it out.
    I also saw 1.99 on Rt.9 in Lewes on Saturday.

    Yeah! Last summer in Middletown, De and Chestertown, Md it was always 90cents more expensive than at the beaches! Made sure we always filled up before we heading home. Even the boat cans! Never understood why but my theory is to keep folks going to the beaches for tourism income. Not sure who is getting the tax break! Big government consperincy, runs to deep for questions! Better shut up now!
