DAN RATHER......HAS A RATHER DIFFERENT TONE

I guess when you ruin your career and your friends careers it is time to speak out. Yes bring the fox out in the open field with bait. But as we all know when cast aside by your previous employer.....you have been marked with a black stripe. Tattooed in a strange sort of way. So now Dan is exposing to young journalists the real life behind corporate walls. Either trying to scare some or recruit a few for his cable news hour.



Beside the fact he ruined his career what do you think of the context in his speech you just watched?????

I tried watching that, but I've hated that asshat for my entire adult life and now that I watch what I want to watch, and NOT what is on the old family TV, like when I was a kid, I just couldn't do it.

he always sort of fancied himself as the next edward r murrow. who quite frankly wasnt anything more than the first famous war correspondent. being first can make you famous however, for what is now taken for granted. dan rather never really wanted to move with the times. after all, what is walter cronkite famous for? did you ever hear his outlook on things. he can put ted kennedy to bed with the liberal viewpoint he has. but hes famous, and he got away from it before matt lauer took over, or katie couric. news today really isnt anything except propaganda. they can make you believe anything they want you to believe. dan rathers mad because there isnt a place for him to give his version. no one wants to hear the truth dan. as one ages you need to let go. believe what works for you, save your money or learn to keep your mouth shut and agree with the crowd. if people really wanted to hear the truth, they wouldnt spend so much time in church. and at different parts of your life you find different truths. im sure dan has enough money to go sail a boat like walter does. he should do it. because when brittany spears and k fed get back together, matt lauer already has the story.

Dan Rather (rather not tell you the real news that is) was nothing like Ed. Ed was a black man making it in a time when being black ment less pay and more to prove to keep your job. He was always in trouble telling it straight, dumped on the battle field even because they wanted to 'test' him. He was honest and very well spoken. I got the pleasure of taking him bonefishing once. I do wish the news would show how our troops are doing everyday. I wish they would tell us like it is... not what they want us to hear. Just think how old Dan is .. ya think he might have said more sooner???

Coming from somebody else I would say his statements are on the money. But this rant about compromising the integrity of the news coming from a guy who used false documents to support his agenda? And then, when the documents were proven false stands in front of a camera and tells America that the documents were false, but he stands by the story....

We all need to start watching a different "Network":

we need up to date articals of who Brit, Paris n Jessica are doing, who they will vote for, who they think should be raisin' kids, and who needs seat belts...oh I forgot who should be taking Z-bars while drinking red bull n grey goose also. after all who cares people pay them to drive escalades and party at thier clubs...
