    D-Day

As we all know(or should know), this Sunday is the 66th anniversary of the greatest act of American heroism to-date.

Not only should we all remember the ones that sacrificed their lives on this day, we should all take the time to thank every service member of WWII that we know. WWII vets are few and far between these days and will not be around forever.

My grandfather was 26th Infantry and marched from France to Germany. He turned 89 yesterday. One of two original members of his company that survived the war.

Men like this deserve our respect and appreciation.

If you have the time, go to your local VFW on Sunday and express your appreciation and gratitude to these heroes!

As Americans we need to remember....

that WWI was fought against the Muslims. The old song "From the halls of Montezuma to the sea of Tripoli" was sung during our fight against Muslims and we also need to remember the fallen soldiers of the first great war as well. My great grandfather fought in this war.
