Short skinner (4 inch blade) with 'broken' bone handle, skeleton file groves in the spine of the handle. The black "veins" are not natural to the bone, but actually how I filled in the cracks that occurred when forcing the pins into the handle..a decent fix...I made the sheath to fit into the small of the back, concealed or as a cross draw on someone's belt...The leather is waterproof, using Sno-seal heated and melted into the pores of the leather by slowely hair drying the wax.. This trick will work on any of your leather sheaths, gun straps and boots, but is great for preserving mates' pliers and line cutter sheaths that get salty..
