    Middle Finger CT Scan today

    I get the results tomorrow(er...today). The scan is the easy part. I go in they give me an IV, and I drink a bunch of Barium.
    This is the first time I have had them use ultrsaound to start an IV. My veins are so messed up from chemo and the steroids that thats what I have left! (in a way it sounds worse than it is...although, well, I guess, (yeah!)
    I am a little freaked the f--- out.
    I guess my expectations are pretty low.
    I won't know squat 'till tomorrow...I will text my blog when I find out. I have no idea what to do, its 1:37am and I am wide awake and wondering what the helll?
    I just want to pass along that I (and a bunch of my buddies) lurk around here alot.
    You guys have really stepped up when the crappola hit the air circulation device!
    I only know a few of you, but damn, those few have made my life a hell of alot better!
    I don't know what tomorrow will bring and if its anything less than a terminal sentence...well hell even if it is!
    Thank you...I am not sure if that comes across right...I really hope it does.

    The downside to living in paradise I assume.
    I always figured I would retire to a deserted Island somewhere. Now I look at the San Juans and wonder what their oncology dept is like. Thats only 50 min from SCCA(my oncologist) and I wonder how much of an issue thats gonna be?
    Seriously though, you need sleep! Trust me on the awake all night...(Well you have seen some of my posts, and this well may be one of them!!!)
    I was hoping the inversion table worked. My Chiro would help you/ but you would have to spend time here...NOT a good idea right now.
    I can send you some illegal perscription meds...that would take 3 years to get there? (trust me, I have plenty!!)
    Wish I had a better Idea

    Thanks Johnny... it's just such a slow, tedious healing process and it's very easy to overdo it when you feel well... it will be a YEAR on Christmas Eve since I injured it... Moving to our new house in February was a big setback and two hurricanes in one week in September was a major setback... I am getting better though and that's what counts... just like anything else, some nights are better than others.... i just figured i'd get up and at least Gringo could get some decent sleep...

    YOU need your sleep too... at least it's near dawn here... !!!

    Yeah I am kinda lost right now, but I will suck it back in and go on!
    I totally understand getting up so the other half can sleep...
    Although she compains when I am not there when she wakes up! Its the simple things I guess!
    I have fewer nights like this since they have started tapering me down on the steriods.
    I am still on scary doses of immunosupressents, propholaxis antibiotics and Steroids to beat HELL.
    Oh yeah...I probably did not spell any of that right!!!!!
    well... Now you know...and I am done!!!
    And...I'm done tonight! (not going anywhere!!!)
