    CT Fisherman/Rodbuilder, New to forum

Pretty glad I found this forum. I've been fishing since I could make memories and have pretty much stuck to my home turf (North shore of Long Island Sound and Block). Recently I have been getting tired of slaying CTs Bruiser Blues (and getting my gear shredded in the process) have begun frantically chasing Bonita and Albacore. Grand notions of moving on to yellowfin this summer.

The economic downturn resulted in no job and plenty of time for new hobbies which has led me to rod making. Started a small business with my cousin, Double Dolphin Rod Works, and we have been crafting some fine surf cast, striper, and bluefish rods (and some relatively untested trolling rods).

So now I am waiting for my boat to get back in the water and planning a few trips to the canyons for the coming spring, summer, and fall. I'll be posting a good deal this winter and trying to garner as much knowledge from this forum as possible. Nothing wrong with standing on the shoulders of giants.
