This is exactly right. Human sweat and the Hydrolite material used in the temples react and over time they disintegrate. They have been working to solve this problem and the new Fathoms should be a lot better than the old ones. If you will send them back to Costa they will take care of you, but BE SURE to go to their website and fill out the return form.
