Stopped to get this guy out of the road this morning.

oh we have iguanas...!!!!! know them well... there are a few living on my dad's property on another island... they are totally different from chameleons... !!! prehistoric looking though...!!!
one time Dooley was chasing one and got a hold of its tail.... well the tail broke right off and continued to writhe around in the sand... we were busy doing other things and later on i looked down at the tail (30 minutes later?) and it was still writhing around in the sand... but the muscle fibers had begun to "worm" their way out and they were like little blind fingers trying to feel their way through the sand.. CREEPY...!!!
i dunno if that even made sensebut it felt like a horror flick or something...!!!

They come out of the trees to use the bathroom or cross a road. They are very slow. He was healthy.
