    Graceland, do you mind copying these pics I posted show them to your friend to see if what im thinking is logical. I got the diesel page that was told to me up above and Im having trouble getting in to that sight. This is what im thingking start the truck on diesel let the radiator heat up the oil heater and on the fly flip the switch to run on the cooking oil. The second pic is the heater im going to build to heat the oil.

    might wanna check to see that oil is compatible with your injection pump, i know my 6.5 uses an optical sensor that won't even allow me to run off-road dyed diesel.

    Ya, I was told I would have to change my fuel injectors and glow plugs. Im still going to try and get some answers on that other site when it will let me post.

    Believe it or not the buddy is a captain in the Navy. He doesn't burn the oil directly, he cooks it off into biodiesel. There's a chemical he adds to seperate the oil out, but I can't remember right now what it is. I do remember part of the set up was a big water heater he had modified to heat the oil to a certain temperature for the speration process.
