Contender Question?

Are contender's all glass? I aks b/c I just bought a used 21' and I want to put a thru-hull transducer.

The hull is fiberglass with balsa coring and it can and should be mounted center. It all depends on what transducer you are thinking of.

I recommend thru hull ducers where ever possible tilted element or 50/200 600 watt with a fairing block. 1KW is model B260 with a fairing block probably will not fit.

Puck style/ in hull work as well but the thru hull will read better.

The tilted element can be mounted on an angle so it is not an issue with the 24 degree derise of the hull. The model is B60-20

All the transducers are airmar, the ducers just have different diplexers, end plugs etc and just marked for Furuno, Raymarine, Simrad Etc
