YOU HAVE TO DIG OUT YOUR HAT !!! So typical and fitting - let me guess its buried underneath your dallas cowboys jersey bc they won a few titles in their time.

You aint no fan...stay off the band wagon and keep up the good art work !! If you want to blend in you will have to wear a cheesey silk blue jacket and dissapear by the 6th inning. Everyone just loves the yankees when they are winning dont they ?? You guys (not you in particular bc you are not a real fan) wanted to lynch the manager until the steinbrenners dumped all the money this year on free agents.

Go Phils ! Hopefully next year our bats don't dissapear when its most important. The phils will be back, and probably playing the stankees again because they are the best team that money can buy. I don't blame them one bit. There is something wrong though when 1 or 2 players make more then ENTIRE teams......and A-Roid...need I say more. Disgraceful.

Enjoy NY...be sure to scrub the grease off you real good before you head back down south or your paint brush will be falling out of your hands.

I am a fan of whoever plays the Yankees. I guess that made me a bandwagon fan of the Phillies this year. I actually was pulling for the Dodgers. It would have been fun to watch Joe Torre back in the Bronx.

I don't know what kind of fan you call me. I like the Yanks to win after the Red Sox are out of it, which is most of the time. They play good baseball, and I enjoy watching a good game, hitting, running, coming back, I guess that's all there is to it...I never bet against them....I hate A-rod and the traitor Damon...but they sure can hit the ball.......I wondered why they kept Matsui in the lineup...but I found out....

I agree it would have been poetic justice for Torre's new team to murder the Yankees, but it wasn't to be.

Re: The traitor Damon. When he played for the Sox I couldn't stand him. The hippie look and all just made my hair hurt. Then he came to New York and I thought, "It gets worse." Then I started watching him, and saw what an enthusiastic team player he was. He's not a glory hog. I understand he does a lot of charity work too. I've actually started to really like him.

BTW, I don't really give a rat's @$$ about baseball, so it's not because I'm a Yankees fan. However, I do like Derek Jeter. Less people mis-spell my name since he's become famous. Plus I get to tell people "He was named after me you know.... about ten years after." For some reason nobody ever thinks that's as funny as I do.

Yup as a Sox fan, Damon was a hippie, but then they were champs, twice, I remembering wondering why they kept him in the line up then too...but suddenly he started hitting homers...27 times World Series champs baseball history, the Yanks are quite a team....As Jeter once said when things weren't looking good, "don't worry the ghosts will come"...you know he was right....
