Congrats Capt Jim aka Sea Draggin

Congratulations Jim! I was reading in Saltwater Sportsman and I read your comments of jigging for African Pompano. Just curious as to which jigs you are using for them. We fish at the tower and use the same method that Butch Foster uses when we target AP's. I have never tried using jigs.

The next bite on a jig.
The first pomps I encountered where at the 302 around Thanksgiving '08. I think we were using 200g flat jigs.

Then in Feb, Dihrd put us on the mother load. Pink 160g were the flavor of the day.

15+ AP's and 90lbs of angry brown fish vertical jigging!

My guess is the jigs are more effective on the deep water winter fish.
