Computer help needed

if the comps are networked. share the favorites and copy to the new one. Or send the favorites to your self in an email. High lite all favorites, right click/copy. Then paste in a new .txt file. attach the new .txt file in a email and send to poon man.

poon I use windows explorer

start, all programs, accessories, windows explorer

if i take the entire favorites and drag it onto my portable drive

The were exactly do i put it on the new machine

i assume the same place ?

is there a fool proof destination so i don't screw up ?

poon if you are the administrator of the xp comp and no other login names have been made , do a search for favorites. This should show you where your favorites are in the new computer (the structure of the file folders) xp is a little different than 98 with the security of drives

free is in xp, called windows movie maker. I am not sure what your version is.
