"Life is what you make it!"
When you see that message at the top of your tool bar you need to click on it and run active x controls and it should be all better

what movie player usually plays movies on the computer that threw up?
If it is Windows media player...gp to tools on the top task bar...then options. When that screen opens ..look for file types and click it.....to make things easier click the select all box in the bottom right...then click apply.
Now open quick time....click edit at the top....in that box go down to preference at the bottom...a slide bar will pop out....choose the middle bar "quicktime preferences"
..when in that box choose file types...click the plus sign next to video....deselect everything under the "video" header. ..Now click apply and put quick time away.
This instruction is IF you want windows media to run you video playback. If not do not follow the instruction. Hope this helps

When you click and select to run the active X, do you see the video player?
Do you see the banners?
