Finally, here is some info. Thanks for the patience

    Hard drive 7.85gb 1.73 left
    intel pentium 398mhz memory 256ram

connection: lan or high speed 10.0 mbps

Bayrat, I have the directx9 windows media player

Sterling, don't have a clue how to deal with clearing out internet cache.

My guess is that I need to do what was advised, make it part of a fishing reef.

    Thanks all.

I bet if you run the Task Manager while trying to view a movie, your CPU Process will spike to 100% everytime the movie freezes.

Meaning your computer processor can not keep up to process the video, leaving you a video that acts like a power point.

You might want to consider a computer upgrade. There are always tons of deals coming out from Dell and Compay for under $500

Upgrade to another computer... Best Buy has the E-Machines after rebates you can get a lot more computer for as little as $399 plus tax. I just bought one for the office, loaded to the max, after rebates $500 and it's a screamer...

Be sure to use a spyware program of some sort to reduce the hidden add ons when you click on unknown sites, it'll keep you going at hypersonic speeds..

Here's a link to their website....
