Compact Fishing Rods

I am looking for suggestions on a compact fishing rod to use while backpacking and camping. What is everyone's favorite? How about these www.fishemmrod.com ?

I have never seen rods like those; they are neat.
What would be wrong with buying a rod from st. croix or something like that which would break down into 3 or 4 pieces.....idk about the weight though... check this st. croix travel rod:
