Comming to a Close

My never ending Bahama trip is finally comming to an end... One more day of fishing then wait for the wind to ease up for a slide back across... Boss so badly wanted to come back one more time but business requires his focus to be there.
For what limited fishing we did this year it was a good time. I had plenty of time to really soak up the islands different flavors... Gonna miss what may be the very last mako mania but it all comes with the job. Oh well. The deeper friendships I have found and nurtured over these past months make anything I might have missed stateside a non issue.
I sit here conch tibits in hand with a clear breezy night comming on and sun setting astern of me... Hard to find a complaint in that...

Yeah, back to the good old USA, oil spills, Iraq/Afghan war, General firings, murders, rapes...welcome back.......as someone more eloquent than me once said "no man needs a vacation so badly, as one who has just returned".........
