    Thanks Lee,

There is no man that can get it (The Presidency) 100% right. Yes he made mistakes but, I myself still like the guy. I believe he did and STILL does have unmost respect for the men/women under his command. Sadly there are those on this site that would stoop low enough to say that that those VETS were fools to volunteer. If that's the case, call me a fool for THANKING them for what they did and continue to do! Frank

    Well publicized in Texas

I live here in Texas. This was reported on local news in Texas.

It's no suprise it was a bike ride. Bush was a well-known rider when he was gov.

I book no praise for the MSM. Sometimes I think they are more like Opra than Chronkite.

    Cronkite you say?

Cronkite may go down in history as one the the biggest perpetrators of "selling the lie" to the American people. TV was new to the masses...and there was Walter...just shoveling the Globalist's agenda down the throats of sheeple. Do yourself a favor... google Cronkite Bilderberg Group and see what comes up.

You Guys Have Heard of the 10%ers, right? But How About the 5%ers?

I like to say that 10% of my customers cause 80% of my problems. I've heard 10%er's used in other similarly unflattering contexts.

But here we're talking about "wounded warriors", right. We'll they're a part of (a very small part of) the 5%ers. Who are the 5%ers? Well, as 95% of the American citizens over history have never served in the armed forces in any capacity they're the ones who would. Kudos to them.

Then there's the 2%ers. Who? They're the ones that served in combat arms, you know, the ones who actually fight, as opposed to the doctors and lawyers and administrators, etc.

Then there's the thankfully unknown percenters like the guys in the video. They're part of the 2%ers, in most cases. But they're the ones who take it in the behind (or elsehwere) as part of the job. Many kudos to them, of course, and may their actual percentage never be firmly fixed but always as low as possible.

I recall being banned from TPN (Tea Party Nation) for challenging a statment from their leader when said he'd not put himself in harms way for a million dollars. It's a matter of honor to have been banned for having challenged that unpatriotic prick for saying that.

These figures got some of you thinking? An extremely small percentage of our citizens ever actually put themselves in harms way for our empire. All the rest just suck eggs, I guess.

Brings Cheney to mind. During Vietnam he got a ton of deferrments so he wouldn't have to serve at all much less in combat arms. The guy on the bike, Bush, did as little as he possibly could to serve, Air National Guard and never volunteered to run bombing raids over N. Vietnam like those who really fought. Still he got a National Defense Medal, I'll bet.

Seems I recall some stories about him doing a lot of crack and being AWOL a lot too. Too "cracked" to report, I guess. No worry, though, he's an Easy Coast elite so he's not supposed to do anything really but play like a hero, not actually be one.

Moral. The small and unknown percenters (wounded warriors) who rode with him likely knew of his elaborate schemes to avoid dangerous service (I was going to use the word cowardice, but I'll give him some credit for at least being amoung the 5%ers). Almost everyone I know sees the difference between his "service" and that of his Father, Bush 1.

So, I'll bet not all of the wounded warriors were terribly happy about riding with him as they recalled Bush's pseudo service. For you guys who are prattling on about what a great CIC Bush was, it's best to remember that during a time of intense warfare for the U.S. he and many members of his administration did all they could to not be one of wounded warriors with whom he rode that day.

Hmmm, what percentage of U.S. Presidents and Vice Presidents do you think masqueraded as warriors like Bush did then and now? Pretty select group, I'd say.

I Guess There's Something In There Somewhere,

I have the same feeling about most Officer's myself. They weren't cut out to be the grunt's. So they stayed behind and made calculations and filled out report's. I know very well that's not true for all, but most Officer's I ran into couldn't cut it. Do I have un-resolved resentment? Guess you could call it that. What do ya think there LF? Frank
