    Collinite wax

After all the good things I have heard about this wax I decided to give it a try. There were a couple different ones there. I bought the Collinite No. 870. Special Heavy Duty Fleetwax. Did I get the right one?

i have always used the 885 but im certaian what you bought is a good product. one suggestion i have would be to also buy some starbrite polish with PFTE and polish before you apply the collonite. (very easy on and off). I dont know how large your ride is either though. The fleet wax is labor intensive, just do a small section of your hull at a time. I use painters tape to mark off a section at a time and it works well using this method. Use the collontie cleaner before you do anything. she will c ome out pretty- good luck. here are a couple pix of my 78 seacraft from last year (still shining by the way!

hope this helps, (had to show off my ride a little as well, lol)

They also had the paste. I decided to go with the liquid. Maybe thats the difference on the numbers. I think I will take your advice and use the cleaner. It only makes sense. Thanks!

Stick with the liquid man. I use the #920 cleaner first, then use the liquid wax as the next step. I don't like the Fleetwax.
