citizens beware of back door gun control

I may be too nervous, but the following web address that I just viewed has my attention. Perhaps some of you may be able to shed some light on the subject. My take is that 18 states are trying to impliment a coding proceedure on ammunition during this year. The required laser machines will cost each manufacturer between $ 300,000 and $ 500,000. Each round will also require a .05 tax. Pa. Md. and NJ are listed as states having this introduced. Many on this board are in one of those states. Is this, in your opinion a threat?

Here's what I don't get... There are plenty of really F'ed Uped states out there looking to tax you to death and remove every constitutional right you have. At the same time there are a few states who are this close (fingers together) to telling the Feds to go "F" themselves. No taxes other than on what you spend, not make... you have the right to protect your family, car, property, belongings, etc from thieves and if it takes deadly force, so be it (AND you are protected from civil backlash)... Great fishing, world-class hunting, great schools... short, if any winters....

What I don't get is why someone who is a Constitutionalist, Patriot, Conservative, (anyone but some lefty-commie), would stay in a state looking to strip your rights? At what poit do you say, "fork 'em... I am outta here".

LOL... nah... He had his azz handed to him and the others who took a stand against the thousands of Mexicans, but once the word of their stand spread, Santa Anna and his boyz got what they had coming to them. WE ARE WELL prepared this time. (and always welcome more Patriots to our Republic).

Thought you'd get a kick out of that. You know, with all the terrorist activites in the world, pirates, etc., the anti gun movement never gets a chance to get rolling. How long was it after the assassination attempt on Reagan, when (can't remember the guys name) got shot in the head, and when gun control talk was at it's highest in my opinion, before the next thing came along to kill it? Can't remember, but it wasn't long. Where were all the pro gun control folks after 9/11, gone. Gun control is political posturing at best. There will always be the next thing coming along to take the wind out of it, always....and when I find myself worryinmg a little, I know the NRA (dinosaur) is looking out for me, even if I don't need armour piercing......
