    Chincoteague Report w/ kids

Took a trip to chincoteague with my daughter Micaela and girlfriend. My sister came as well with her twin 7 year old boys and husband. On Saturday I rented a pontoon boat for 3 hours from snug harbor, I wasn't sure how it was going to pan out having two 7 year olds and a 4 year old on a boat but ended up being a great day out there. First we went clamming and the clams were thick even my daughter was finding them. In 45 minutes we ended up with over 140 clams. Then we decided to fish for a little, well fishing was slow as it was slack tide but we did catch some small sea bass, sand shark, and a small croaker. then we just took a nice little boat ride. The kids didn't complain once. Amazed me All had a great time

On sunday we went to the beach to swim and play in the sand. Also fished a little bit. The fishing was good with spot and little croakers. Never seen such little croakers before, they were all about 8-10". Caught about 15 in an hour. They were thick out there. But hard to hook. First time I didn't catch a skate while surf fishing.
