Century Boats in Panama City , Florida closed Wednesday. Workers were given layoff slips. Some were notified b mail. Yamaha which owns Century said the layoffs were due to the recession. Workers felt that sales were picking up. 20 workers will remain as sales and customer service personnel until the end of 2010
