that sucks to hear Brad![]()
Barbara read in the Coast Dispatch that one of her former "Job Corps" students was arrested down there last week for B&E![]()
still, I'd rather be in OCMD than up here in Randallstown![]()

It's waywayway common here in south Florida. I get hit a couple times a year. Simple fix, I leave nothing of value in there. I've gone to the point of even leaving it unlocked so they stop popping the locks out of the door but that even failed once...
The culprits are usually kids and funny enough I have actually caught a few of the little buggers after the fact. They are the amatures. Dumb ones... Leave a trail a blind man could see.
Once was a case of lures. We have a fishing consignment shopin town and bingo, first place I looked there they were... Shop owner gave me name and address and the lures back since they were consigned. Kids Dad got in the middle of it and paid dearly. Another swiped a cell phone and called all his friends his mother beat him worse than I ever would have...
Now I set little booby traps and the break ins seemed to have stopped... Wont get too specific but lets just say a couple sabiki rigs with real sharp tiny hooks mixed in with the loose change in the toll change coin caddy work wonders...![]()
Deep- I get down to Fla a couple of times a year, the consignment shop....are we talking Lake Park?
yep... dumb shits always take anything fishing there. Not a pawn place and Dave the owner is an honest man...
Had a problem with this in our area.....the police believe it was a group of illegals that keep someone parked around the corner scouting for the police and communicate through cell phones....
We also had problems with some of the local teenagers in the neighborhood breaking into cars, stealing change and whatever else they find. One kids parents figured out he stole the GPS and made him return it. I guess a 14 year old walking around with a car GPS unit might have given it away.
This is how you know teenagers are stupid.....he plugged his home address into the unit while he was playing with it and never deleted it when he returned it. Lets just say, the police gave him and his parents quite a scare and he will be a model citizen for at least 6 months.
talk about dumb during thanksgiving my dads car was broken into but instead of taking anything they left us a nice hand held gps. my guess was that the dogs scared them.![]()
