Carolina Beach info

I'm staying in Carolina Beach in late August with some buddies for a weekend. We'll be fishing out of my 19' CC. Any local advice on landings and inlets is greatly appreciated. Also, where is a good bait shop in the area? I'm a SC boy who's only fished Edisto, Charleston, Georgetown, and Murrells Inlet, so I would prefer to not end up grounded on any of your famous NC shoals.

Carolina inlet is good for kings and spanish also the 30/30 is real good
