How have your experiences been applying for it? I did the online reg. Had an 11:30 appointment in Seekonk Mass. Went there could not find the address. Finally pulled into a hotel and when I went in the guy at the desk told me that I was in the right spot. At 12:00 the desk man came and told me they had alot of walk-ins thats why I was delayed. I said WTF? Why did I even reg. online for an appointment if all I had to do was walk-in? Then he said I should come back at 1:00 because the girl doing it leaves for lunch! I as so pissed off. I got back there and she called me in at 1:30. It was in a hotel room converted to an office. They had just removed the beds thats all. She was in her early 20's and so unprofessional. She had the TV on and cranked up watching "Good Times" or "Prince of Belair" She kept asking me questions and I kept having to have her repeat herself because she mumbled. Then she said to sit down and fill out the form. After that the next guy in line got up and she started asking him questions. I got so pissed off I got up and shut her TV off. That pissed her off. After I got all my paperwork done she called me up to take my prints and photo. Half way through she grabbed her remote and turned the TV back on! If I did'nt need this friggin thing I would have knocked the TV onto the floor and told her to stick it up her ass!

yes it sucks, but I think NACO is trying to get charter boats exempted. Wait and see.

As long as it took for me to hand them my CC.

You go online, register, make an appointment. Go, fill out some forms, pay them. They sit you down, punch some shit into a comp, take your prints, snap a pic. Then they give you some papers with instructions to go online to see when your card is ready to be picked up. Then you come back and get it.

Actual appointment took me maybe 10 min.

called the coast guard today..they told me the twic card has nothing to do with them and is not needed at time of submitting application...but they did say i have to get it by april...iunderstand the logic..but if you didnt allow all these f'in immigrants..WE wouldnt be going through this. I think i said it in another post...after WW2 it was hard to get into this country. My grandparents were in the german concentration camp...before they were able to come here they had to pick to stay in germany or go elsewhere...they went to south america... then they came here...my grandfather WENT to school to learn english...it was mandatory to get a job here.. he did it...why cant anyone else..we spend billions for these immigrants..for what! so blue collared people can pay more..sorry just pissed
