I can tell you exactly why player like that dont get the true media attention. When you are that type of player, you get overshadowed by the team, and that is what you want. you want to hear about the "Redskins" or the "Colts" or the "Eagles" or the "Giants" you dont want to hear about Lavar, or Harrison, or DickHead, aka TO, or Shockey. . .
think about it. Do you really see L.T. giving interview after interview?? With him being arguably the best back in the league, all you hear about is San Diego. . . not L.T., unless they are talking about his PLAY, not his actual LIFE.
I see exactly where you are coming from, JP. I just get tired of it when they show T.O. working out infront of his house and stupid shit like that. I don't waste my time on that kinda crap. I don't know why the press overexploites negative activity. Little kids look up the these people and they act like everybody owes them something. I'll tell you what I owe em....a swift kick in the junk. You are right on about all the good ones that go out there and do there job and keep out of trouble and make the team look good instead of showboatin' trying to make themselves look good.
I guarantee if T.O. went fishin' with me....my billy club would have a work out.
IM NOT DEFENDING HIM but dont all of us how watch sprots want a show.I know when i go to it a game for just me it caost about $200 .For that kind of mony I want a show .I want something to talk about the next day.All would not watch if a football game if no one would score .
