Regardless of what has happened in the last few weeks, I still have a hard time beleving that this was not the plan from the begining.
The trouble started after he sighned his long term deal had 1 good year and then wants to renegotiate his contract. What the hell is wrong with that picture. Imagine a charter boat saying to a 2 day charter its 1500 a day and after slaying them real good on day 1 the price changes to 2500.
Its BS and TO knows it.
Maybe if he or his agent were not dumb as rocks they would have loaded the contract with incentives for production and then poor little TO would not be bitchin about making 3.5 million this season.
Owens apologizes to Eagles

T.O., Lewis, Moss, Pittman, and all the other low lifes don't need to play. Romanowski along with 'em. I think that these people are privelidged to play in the NFL and if they can't act right, then the NFL needs to get its act together and punish these players. Same thing with MLB. If players can't act like the role models that they are, then they don't need to play ever.

T.O. is gone, should be gone, but will be missed with McNabb hurt. I was a huge T.O. fan when they signed him but lost interest in him as each game passed and each stupid comment rose. I'm glad he's gone and am tired of hearing the other players have to comment on what T.O. is or is not dong.
Besides that, I think the Eagles organization has some major soul searching to do. Don't get me wrong, I'm one of the most die hard Eagles fan but they have to alter their attitudes toward their own free agents. They never pay any of their veterans or other players and let them go to grow more talent. This has worked in the past; however, now it seems to have backfired. Their team is short on players and it's hurting the overall performance. I feel if they didn't sign Westbrook, one of their top guns, to an extension then the rest of the players will have a negative attitude in the back of their minds. Why should they play their heart out, come back from an injury early, or even sign with the Eagles when they are only going to be cut or pushed aside in a season or two for someone else. 10+ million under the cap and they won't sign people like Ike or Simon to an extension....that's odd thinking. They don't have to worry about keeping that far under the cap for a rainy day because the salary cap will increase drastically in 2 seasons because of the new NFL television contract....so to sum it up, good ridenance T.O. but please....sign some other people to HELP this team who has let the competition catch up to them!

I would like to see the Eagles welcome T.O. back provided he signs a new contract that specifies he: Keeps his mouth shut, does what he told, and lets Coach Reed or McNabb dictate what he get's paid, based on performance.

I'm really tired of these overpayed, over publisized trash, taking advantage of what is givin' them. I'm tired of turning on the T.V. and seein' T.O. cryin' about his tee-tee hurtin'. Why don't the players like Peyton Manning, Dante Hall, and other players that give some of their income back to the community, get as much publicity as a trouble makin' sissy la-la. I don't get it.
