Can you tell me what this means?

The sign is down the road from my Dad's house in the Bahamas. I laugh everytime we pass it. I always thought it meant "Stay in your caar mon you be safer der!"

Reminds me of the Dominic Republic. Spent some time down there. We use to pull over at the little lemonade stands on the side of the road, only these lemonade stands sold cerveses! Yup, we drank and drove! It was legal! Not sure if it is still that way but nothing made sense there and I'm pretty sure it was because everybody was drunk.
