Can you ID these lures? (J.T.)

I know there is someone here that can answer this. I have 2 large lures with the initials J.T. written in the head. Pics are below and they are quite a bit heavier than they look.

    Anyone know what these are?
Better yet, has anyone ever fished them?
I'm thinking of running them off the long riggers in a Blue Marlin spread, or shotgun for all purpose or wire them for wahoo. Thoughts?

I think they came from Deep C's rolling tackle box several years ago and I don't think I've pulled them yet.

The bottom two were some Jeros Tackle was having made for them... The top one May be one of theres if its marked JT otherwise from this angle that one looks like my rigger savage...

The two from Jeros were swimmers... Kind of a konaesque style... I have a few that seldom get run but they're good on big eyes. They will work good long... I always ran mine flat but long is good too.

Those jeros baits were around ten years before barts models you mention... They were actuallymid/ late 80's... The kona scoop is pretty small so the swim is reduced some but still effective. Another place I have run them is as a follow up on daisy chain teasers...

    Thanks Deep,
I figured you'd have the answer. The top one doesn't have J.T. on it and is probably your rigger Savage. I think that one may get more action and will probably float him on the short rigger in a non-meat spread. As for the JT lures, I think I'll allocate them for wahoo and see what happens.

they look like the old yapps or shnider design.. good looking stuff.

I'd pin the two longer ones down right off the back in some clean water and the other I would rigger ... you can buy wahoo wackers at bass pro and add hooks for teethy creatures instead of screwing up nice plugs...they will get teeth marks anyway. good find

That savage is a home run bait. On the moon is was tough on whites and tunas both... I'm trying to figure how to get that one back in production. If nothing else for, for my own use... I'm down to three or four for my own use and they are deadly... Bart makes mini 1656 which is a fatter barrel but anither good choice but where I fish in the islands the wahoo would have that one wrecked in a blink...
