we tried a new circle hook this weekend....but we went back to our old set up half way thru.....smaller isnt always better!!!

they arent that violent........lectures - yes...flogging - no.......however i havent tested them to the max.......but then again would you??? Im lucky enough to get to fish with them every chance i get - I fish with a great guy, on a great boat, with a great captain and crew.......why would you ever ruin that!!!!

Sounds like you're going to concentrate on the wrong rod to me, don't make any long term committments together.....
