camera problems, here the fix

i have two sony video cams, one has been nixed by a friend dropping it overboard, it is dead. the other is only three months old and has been killing me since i filmed the tackle storage video. i have been trying to download the video to my computer and it stops midstream and says "re-insert tape"
friend told me about this website for video cameras and their fixes. all posts state to " smack the shit out of it on its side" being a electronic guru and working with plc's and solid state devices i refrained from that..... well, i just did it, got fed up and i spanked that *****.

well, what do you know it frigging worked.

now i can get back at work on my vids...
you guys with camera problems need to check out the site called "camera hackers" .

the smack teh side of it was only specific for the sony's, i think you smack the bottom or the front for other brands.
