The guys are out doing that now. It's quite windy and blustery here today. I had to work this morning and they wanted to go before the typical afternoon pickup in the wind.

    Stay tuned!

It's a Gringo tradition.... instead of buying a dead tree... we search for a nice piece of driftwood that we then decorate with shells and sand dollars...

Thanks for the snow men, I'd rather be working with shells and sand dollars....it's 18 degrees out now, we are expecting 40 tomorrow...of course those numbers don't even show up on your thermometer down there.....have a nice Christmas...

Sounds famaliar. years ago my mother got a big stick out of the woods and put it in a bucket and filled it with concrete and painted the stick silver and decorated it with sand dollars and starfish.

ha! so you get the idea..!!! for us it's more the experience of jumping into the boat and heading out to some out islands, finding just the right piece.. diving for sand dollars and collecting shells... this year the weather isn't cooperating for diving for sand dollars but i may have a few from last year...

I get a bunch every summer. I go out at low tide and there is a sandbar in about 5 ft of water and I walk along and feel for them with my feet then pick them up with my toes. I give a lot away to tourists since they have never seen a live one.
