a wave of boats and palm beach mansions hit the market over the weekend as a result of the madoff scam, many many thousands were severely impacted, so wiped out. Unbelievable

I read that article on the way to work this morning. Madoff has got some balls on him. He screwed some really well known people and firms. Greed at its worst. The shitty part about this is that it will trickle down and effect the little guys like me a year or 2 down the road.
Next up, the defaults on Arm mortgages and then the collapse Commercial credit market. 2009 will be the same if not worse than 2008. Merry Xmas.
I was watching GMA this morning and they had a couple from Fl that lost everthing and were going to have to sell their golf course home. Sad. I hope they string him up.
They are starting to announce who/what organizations have been wiped out by this.
Here's my take... what kind of idiot puts 100% of their money in one nest? If these "rich & wealthy socialites" had the brains of a street level crack dealer, they wouldn't be singing the blues (out a little money, yes... but not broke).
Sucks that there are crooks out there. It really sucks that those with such deep pockets are so stupid.
Am I the only one who finds all this economy mess,bail-outs and fraud talk coming at the end of this administration just a little bit too... odd?
No theres many of us that find it odd to say the least. If you know why please share with the rest of us I for one would love to know the whos and whys and why arent they being held accountable. I sure as hell know its not the average working Joe who either rents or has an intelligent fixed mortgage at or below 25% of their monthly income, but of course they are the ones getting screwed while the wealthy bastards that got rich off the last several years of stupid excess. I really dont feel bad for those "poor" people losing their golf course home or the morons who lost everything with Madoff screw em what about the all the blue collar folk in this country that actually earn a living and make this country go round. I for one am sick and F'ing tired of the media showing theseTheir the ones that have been getting screwed the whole time by the rich sending jobs over seas to make a little more profit or their new accounting principals that make every business look like their in the black instad of so deep in red. I say screw em deep and screw em hard show me where the line forms to ram it home and Ill lead the way. Of course Madoff will be prosecuted he screwed the rich that was his only mistake if he'd screwed the lower classes they'd be bailing his ass out along with dumbasses in the banking industry. Sorry for the rant but this crap is starting to really piss me off.
I'm with Nautiduck. No one was feeling bad for those "Poor" banker types when they were out buying their new BMW's or that 10000 sq. ft. house. They did all this to themselves by being greedy and taking advantage of people. Granted those people should have been smarter than that, but when some one gives you hope like that you tend to get cloudy vision. My question to all of the genius that are coming up with all of these bail outs is, who is going to bail me out when I am paying taxes out the ass to bail every one else out? Thanks for the rant.
