I wish Pelosi would poll her constituants and she would probably see that the majority are in favor of drilling. I don't understand why when someone takes office they go off on their own agenda and forget what the voters want. Big Easy if you notice we have a candidate for governor who opposes off shore drilling. I fish around frying pan tower and it is a fish haven I could only imagine how good it would be if there were drilling platforms dotting our coast.

I know what to do wiyh that pole
Haven't you all figured out that Pelosi is smarter than all of us.![]()
She doesn't care what the gas prices are and the higher the better they are for her agenda for government control.
Luckily it seems like the public might just understand that government regulations can't solve the problem this time around.
I know I know, it's a long shot to hope that the public has any clue, but heck I'm an optimist.
The dems are scrambling here. Bush grabbed his sack for one day and finally used the bully pulpit after 7+ years of acting like a puss. Maybe he will spend the rest of his time in office defending himself and his administration. This administration is proof that you stand for something or don't stand at all. When you don't communicate your approval rating goes in the shitter. Yes he's stuck to his guns and what he believes, but you wouldn't know that by watching the news.
Get ready for 4 more years of BS bipartisanism if McCain is elected.

I don't know folks.
I think it's great that Bush is pushing for domestic drilling.
But it is election time and he can't make it happen.
So, Just noise to get votes ?
Even if it is noise to get votes at least it shows that He or his advisors may realize that is what we want.
Not that what we want really matters since it seems to be all about their agendas, not ours. Hell, the politicians can afford the gas. We pay for it.
Bottom line here,
Bush pushing for domestic drilling is like pissin your pants in a dark suit. Gives us a warm feeling but nobody will notice and it wont change the policy.
I'd like to be optimistic but I'm runnin out of love.
Just my opinion.
Wait I got it, Lets elect Obama, Maybe it's time for another civil war.![]()
If Pelosi is serious about "saving the planet" she can start by leaving it.
Drill here, drill now before the Cubans sneak it all out from under us.![]()
Hmmmmmm?

This offshore drilling lobby is the biggest political scam on U.S. despiration since Nixon's Price controls.
There would be suicide bombers on the news in the US every night if that muslim(sorry GlennW, could not resist, me being a bigot and all...) were the commander in chief during that madness. I fear for our proud country if it fails to wake the f%#k up in a hurry. We are going downhill fast enough, just imagine Obammalama HUSSIEN running the show...God help us![]()
