Glen Dumb Duck here. I figured Id go ahead and throw that out there since every time someone says something you dont like or agree with you start the name calling like most whiny Libs. So I ifgured Id get it out of the way. You say Obama has done alot since he has taken office, all he's done is caused panic and hysteria to push his agendas through, theres been no honesty, no openess, just Oh My God if we dont sign this right now the gates of hell will open! I believe that was the very platform he ran on "Elect me and I will change how things are done in Washington!!!" Yeah he changed em he drove them to new heights. He pushes and pushes without allowing (well trying not to allow) debate, and questions, and even reading his damn bills. The mans a charlatan. What has his administration done to lift the economy AIG bailout? What has that done except give their execs their bonus' in the form of raises? GM bailout? All that did was give control to the unions that got him elected. Infrastructure? Where? No new projects have come about since the bailout, all it did was push projects that were already slated to happen, no "new" jobs those were already there before. The only thing that has started the rise of the economy is some people are starting to spend again. Probably those that paniced in the first place due to the doom predictions of Obamas camp and the hysteria that came about because of his tax plans for small business. His election brought as much damage to the economy because of peoples distrust of his experience as any other factor. We're glad the financial markets have rebounded so all the people that caused this mess in the first place can rebuild their portfolios and riches, but the unemployment rate keeps rising. Of course the Dems say look the rate has leveled off, no it hasnt there are millions still unemployed that have run out of benefits that have fallen off the lists, but at least their not collecting anymore so we can count that as a win. Yeah Bush didnt do much, a couple of minor skirmishes in the Middle East to deal with, the recovering from the largest terrorist attack in history. Id say the markets were quite optimistic under Bush they didnt start dropping until his last year with the threat of Obamas takeover. You can keep shoving your nose up his ass all you want. It doesnt change the fact he's a joke.

If you're going to attempt to discredit a polititan due to your own biases and political agenda, it would seem wise to at least make reasonably accurate ( and rationale) points.
Right or wrong ( and there's pleanty of room for legitimate debate here), the current administration has propposed or implimented more actions that directly affect the lives of Americans than the Bush administration did in two full terms in office. Simply look at the major events and issues we all face. Indeed, consider how often the current president's policies and proposals are in the news (or at the fore front of issues) compared GW Bush over an entire 8 year period.
Off the top of my head, I can recall since early February of this year, the Stimulous Act, the bailout of our auto industry, the bailout of the financial community (a carry over from Bush), and the most radical change in health care ever proposed.

Now, consider Bush over an entire 8 year period--- not much comes to mind.

Perhaps doing nothing is preferrable to changing things that ain't broke--- that is certainly debatable. But to claim that the current administration has not done anything since taking office, is clearly absurd.

On a positive note, we should recognize that the financial markets have rebounded very favorably under the Obama tenure. Perhaps, a coincidence of timing, perhaps not. One thing is for sure, the international business community has not reacted in a radical negitive manner, and indeed is much more optimistic than under the Bush Administration----- interesting observation, IMHO.

I wasn't comparing the two..i was looking at the point of the skit,namely the true points made in the skit.Gitmo-not closed.Afghanistan -worse. - economy - as bama likes to take credit for the "turnaround" it aint happening,the only reason the market is up ,is due to "bargain shopping" nothing else. stimulus package..there's a joke,if your poor and a minority..your in luck,if your like me,business owner w/family,WHO DOESN'T TAKE HANDOUTS..Your screwed.Bailouts..last time i checked this was a free market economy,run your business poorly..you go under.Simple. Health Care..Geee i thought the government and president WORKED FOR THE PEOPLE..and according to the majority,we dont want the govt. handling our health care..EVERY thing they touch turns to shit, further he's ramming it down our throats.
