    Bridal system for planer video

    Just watched video of bridal system for planers. Question: does the bridal have a hard time making it thru the guides & what # mono do you use for the bridal ? Great Instructional

    I HAVE DONE THE TESTING ...THE R&R FOR MANY YEARS ON THIS......


    I HAVE NO PROBLEM WHATSOEVER WITH THE BRIDLE PASSING THROUGH MY GUIDES,,,,,MY THUMB WILL GO THROUGH THE FIRST TWO GUIDES....BUT NOT THE TIP ............BUT EVERYTHING MUST BE SET UP TERMINALL WISE LIKE I HAVE EXPLAINED IN MANY VIDS

    by no means do I have the years of experience that some of these guys have but I bit the bullet, purchased the rod the tiagra 80 the spider line and built the sysytem just as the video shows..with several trips under me all I can say is the thing works. It has been a proven producer of quality fish

    DE Missing info for the DFA setup

    I would like Marty's take on one missing pc of info rather than my SNAFU! Box what are your specs for loading the Tiagra 80W? When I went to load the reel I used 130 pound Ande backing but had no idea how much to load before top shotting of the 130 pound spider wire and then how much spider wire is required to leave room for the bridle and 132 foot leader?
    If you have a formula for this it would be a great help to those setting up the original system by THE BOX.

    Thank you for the info on the lb. mono.
    But unless you and I aren't looking at the same video Mr. Marty dosen,t say anything about what pound mono it's made from. I got diamond out of it and thats all. I'm only asking a question my friend. Please look at the video.
