Nothing in this world like snapping that throttle and watching those digits climb...and there's nothing like a bike that the harder you hammer it, the more that it wants.

The 929rr in Yellow/Black and the 2001 GSXR 1000 Black/Silver were my dream bikes back when i was like 18-19. I remember being on my 1997 GSXR 600 and riding with a guy who had a black silver 1000 and was pulling on me like a freight train.

Now I have my 2004 ZX-10R. That by far is the most insane machine I have ever ridden. Hands down it will go down as one of the most deadly bikes of all time. Its 15lbs. heavier than a 600, makes a ton of horsepower, with a death touch throttle response. I remember the first time I ever laid into her after the break in. Hit 105mph at the top of first and ran it all the way to almost the top of 4th at 158mph indicated. She still had two more gears to stretch her legs.

For the first time in many years I am without motorcycle.

Sold my BMW R1100S because of crazy ass drivers and to many close calls.

Getting dressed to feel safe, got ridiculous........full face helmet, riding gloves, riding shoes, Kevlar reinforced pants and jacket.....it took all the joy out of riding.

With job, family, mortgage and bills I felt it irresponsible to ride without the gear.

I see these guys riding without helmets and it makes me cringe. They either have no family or they care only about themselves.
