Captain Bob on the "Fin Seeker" said he had good luck with Pettits Grey Zinc Barnacle Buster spray paint on underwater metals.

A liter of "Prop Speed" was between 400 and 500 dollars so I gave Pettits product a shot. Thirty dollars a can. Need two to three cans at 10 square feet per can.

Anyone with experience with this product?

I put it on last year. The diver who services my boat says that he is seeing less shell on rudders and props since...

We'll see on haul out.

Yep have been using it for two years with good results. I dont spray the whole prop just the hub and about 2 inches up each blade.

Just sprayed shafts and props last year, going to use on rudders, struts and tabs also this year and see what happens. The struts always seem to be problem areas for me when using regular bottom paint.
