One sailor has died as a result of a collision between a powerboat and sailboat in Buzzards Bay yesterday. All the info is not in yet on the casue of the accident but the sail boat captain was thrown in the water as a result of the collision and subsequently died. Visibility was good and seas were not an issue it seems so the collision can't be blamed on weather conditions it seems. Sad loss for all involved.
