Hahhaha its funny with someof the stuff that goes on at the boat ramp. I could sit there all day in the summer and laugh and not even leave the dock. Some people just shouldn't own a boat

I had a blooper this year in Grand Isle La. I am glad no one had got me on film.

    I love that stuff!!!!!

My father-in-law has a 55 Jefferson. He is 70 and has problems with his legs, so he rides a scooter down the dock since the boat is at the end. One night he was coming back from dinner, after many drinks of course . He was nearing the end of the dock when he decided to look back at his wife and son.......oh no. He and the scooter headed for the edge of a side slip, he jump off just in time for the scooter to go off the edge. Fine right? NO!!! He decided to save the scooter by holding on with his right hand, he pulled the scooter back on to the dock real quick and jumped back on. Well everyone knows that the throttle is on the right side....SO, with the engine at full throttle the both of them went off like a shot! Right off the other side. At about six feet down he decided that letting go would be the best thing. As he swam back to the surface he could see the headlight of his scooter slowly sinking to the bottom. He grasp ahold of some lines of a sailboat until his son could get over to him and hoist him up. Needless to say his wife and son could hardly walk due to the fact they were rolling around with laughter .

I do not know how much I would pay to have been there or have that on tape. Every now and then he gets allittle attitude, but all we have to due is bring up the scooter and he humbles. Got to love your in-laws!!!!
