NC BOAT SNACKS...PBJNBOX

I'M OVER GETTING UP AT 3:30AM TO MAKE FANCY SANDWICHES FOR MYSELF

OH I LOVE THEM...BUT I WANT MY LIFE TO BE SIMPLE....I WOULD RATHER SPEND THE TIME RIGGING THAN MAKING "SANDWITCHES"......

HAVE YOU SEEN THE "SMUCKERS" READY MADE PEANUT BUTTER & JELLY SANDWICH? IN THE FROZEN FOOD DEPARTMENT.....

I KEEP THEM IN THE BAIT FREEZER ON BOARD......TEN TO A BOX...DID I MENTION WE HAVE BEAUC COUPS OF ICE CREAM BARS ON THE RUN-OFF AS WELL?

ARIZONA GREEN TEA AND I ADD REAL LEMON WEDGES....ALSO DIET DR PEPPER ...AND A NAVAL ORANGE CHILLED ON SHAVED ICE!!!......IT IS NO SIMPLIER THAN THIS!!

WHATS YOUR BOAT SNACK?

Our Bahamas runs are a culinary treat... We keep a tub of fresh conch salad, ham, turkey, baloney, cheese on the ice. Pbj and bread on the galley top, wasabi, soy and ginger in the top drawer, crackers, chips, jerkey and candy bars in the racks above the bunks... No fruit allowed on the boat...

We interupt this thread with a very important public service message:

GEZSUS H THRICE!!!--- Someone call back home for JD and get in touch with the Anson County N.C. Social Services Department ( 1st Zion Baptist Church), and the County Nutritionist ( Maude Green's kitchen) This friend of mine is very ill--- help him, please with rehab. JD still has a good soal and the instintict is still in his blood with BBQ and slaw, but WTF is an Eggplant Grinder?, and what in the world is he doing putting spinich in his eggs and then wrapping it up in bread that someone forgot the yeast? This man is in dire need of some lard bisquits, grits, country sage sausage, and even a dose of scrapple. Please help him remember the only thing you wrap around an egg is a country ham steak. Hot Cocoa???? --- Oh my god.

Now back to our regularly scheduled thread-
The charter trips on the Run Off just don't have the luster they used to. You can catch fish on most any charter boat, You can even catch shit from the mate the entire day on a few select charters-- but what ever happened to the Hiatt Dagwood sammmmiches?-- Ham, Turkey, Cheese, mustard, Mayo, Tomatoe, bananna pepper, and Cranberry sauce between two pieces of BBQ bread?--- now that's what I'm talking about in customer service.--- Oh well, grab me one of those grape ones , watch out for my coffee, and no I don't know where your damn gloves are--- you had them last.

Those smuckers things sound good wahoo tell me more about them

We tend to be a little lite on the incommunicado because of lack of rerfridgeration but we do sometimes beat the best argentine steakhouse on Florida st in downtown Buenos Aires.

If it is the second trip of the weekend you will sometimes find Ceviche made with dolphin, lime juice, onions, jalepeno and habenero peppers, green, red or yellow peppers, Cilantro (the ticket), salt. If we have the hispanic contingency on the boat we will make sure to bring the batata for dipping. but if it is just the usual rednecks then we use fritos or tostitos. If a wahoo hits the deck then we will deliver him to the dock minus a piece or two and it will go into the Civeche'

We also carry nori, chilli sauce, rice, wasabi and soy.

By the way karl and crew I am going shopping today. We are not gonna starve on the espadon tomorrow. The first fish that hits the deck is going into the civeche' slosh

Since the wife bought me a smoker we tend to smoke up a slab or two of tuna.

round that off with a roastbeef with everything from submarina and we barely have time to fish.

The Gourmet Angler

Don't know JD but I bet he watches Emeril just a little too much. Make boat snacks are always beef jerky and roast beef and pepper chz sandwhiches. Don't forget the late afternoon, sometimes earlier road sodas.

Theres a very simple formula for keeping the fire stoked...

1 bag obertos Jerky... Or homegrown when I have the time
1 BIG box Mike & Ikes
1 bag Andy capp's hot fries
2 Mt. Dew's
4 Waters

Unless its an overnighter this is all that is required to keep all twelve cylinders kickin...
