    There is a picture,

On the hull truth.....I googled the story and that came up, showing the boat. Not alot of info. The boat they show is a party boat style looks like it was built in 1958 by a carpenter. Not capable of being in the ocean despite its 63 ft.

Old wooden hull. I bet she split a seam or two in the heavy seas. God bless them and their families.

DEC 23rd - SHEEPSHEAD BAY PARTY BOAT SEA WOLF SINKS JUST AFTER BEING PURCHASED OFF OF CAPE MAY THIS MORNING
by EC NEWELLMAN » Thu Dec 23, 2010 2:33 pm

It seems that the SEA WOLF that left here yesterday morning went down past midnight south east of Cape May. Here is the official press release:

CAPE MAY-- The Coast Guard rescued one man after the 63-foot boat he was aboard sank seven miles south of Cape May Thursday.

The Coast Guard has identified the boat as the Sea Wolf.

Watchstanders at Coast Guard Sector Delaware Bay received a call at 1:35 a.m. from a member of the New Jersey State Police reporting a boat with two people aboard was taking on water.

A MH-65 rescue helicopter crew from Coast Guard Air Station Atlantic City, N.J., and 47-foot Motor Life Boat crews from Coast Guard Stations Cape May and Indian River Inlet, Del., arrived on scene.

The boat crew from Indian River located both men and reported one was responsive and one was unresponsive. The crew brought the responsive man aboard and the rescue helicopter crew hoisted him aboard the helicopter.

The Coast Guard was unable to recover the unresponsive man.

The responsive man was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City for treatment.

    He is in critical condition.

A better story can be found here at the PRESS OF ATLANTIC CITY:

One dead, one critical after 63-foot boat sinks in Delaware Bay off Cape May

A helicopter crew from the Coast Guard Station in Atlantic City and Motor Life Boat crews from the stations in Cape May and Indian River Inlet in Delaware responded to the call.

Coast Guard Petty Officer Mike Lutz said crews were able to successfully retrieve one man from the water. That man, who Lutz said is in critical condition, was transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Campus. The other man, however, was not retrieved from the water. Lutz said the deceased man was floating face-down in the water when rescue crews arrived on-scene. He said the unidentified man was attached to debris floating in the water and eventually sunk to the bottom with sinking boat parts.

There is no scheduled search and recovery plans made to retrieve the body, said Lutz. The boat, which Lutz said was not a chartered fishing boat, was named "Sea Wolf". He said he did not know who the owner of the boat was as it was recently purchased by a new owner. Lutz said he believed the boat was in transit to its new homeport when it sank this morning.

Sea conditions being reported for that time were: wind speed 29 kts gust to 36kts, wave height 7.9 ft at 4.9 seconds. This is unrelenting weather to say the least.
