Joe,
Taking shots at Hooligan, might make you feel better, but it will not help you sales. People aren't buying boats. I just put 92 gallons in my boat over the weekend and it was just under 400 dollars. Times are tough.
Cheap shots at Hooligan!!!!
Not very mature. I know your a bigger guy than that. I have seen you in person.![]()
I would second bostons post joe.. I worked with vinny and i also emails you about sending stuff about my trade to buy a boat and never got an answer..
I didnt want to be bothersom as i am trying to spend 100k and i am not going to work for it..
Maybe your clientel is very large and you got millionaires coming in there with cash but it is the smaller guys who will keep you in business and never got anything back from anyone..
Just another comment i wanted to bring up and let you know my feelings on the situation. There are 1000s of dealers for boats, cars, and anything else around the world..
You got to sell this boat ot me to make a living and eat.. i do not need a boat to eat.. So you got to sell me on it and sell me the boat..
Just my thoughts.
and after all the cheap shots you have been sending after Sal and the hooligan fishing crew i would never purchase a boat from a company like yours.. i rather take my money and burn it.. It is horrific to see you come on here and make such CHILDISH and STUPID comments with your pathetic arrogance.. Shows the true meaning of business men and you my friend are no gentleman.. you are a mean person... Sal is a good guy and if you guys got beef keep it off the sites.. If this was my site CARDINAL JOE (and this is not towards admin) I would pull your advertising and send you packing back to somers point to stare at your inventory that is never going to move because of your lack of care, honesty, and integrity.. I was so interested in a cape horn and buddy davis looking to spend upwards of 180-200k on a new boat in the next year and now i will stick with my boats and spend it somewhere else!
Thanks for a reminder on how you will be treating me and running my business..
Hope sals lunch gives you montasumos revenge.

I also stopped in Cardinal about 2 weeks ago, asked for you [ Joe ] but you were in Key West. I was checking out the 36 Cape [ center console ]- beautiful boat !!! was dealing with Vinny and Ross, Both guys were very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. They were not pushy at all !!!
They gave me a good price but cant seem to pull the trigger on count of these fu**ing gas prices !!!
If the gas prices werent so out of wack I prob would have signed the papers.

This post says alot more about you then Sal. I don't know either of you but I'd never give my business to someone who felt making this post was a good decision.
I like Sal, yet have never met him in person. Had a nice LONG conversation with him regarding putting together a trip for the Big Rock. Ultimately, timing was bad, but, based on our chat, I'd charter with him in a second. Bottom line, Joe, is that you clearly have an issue with this guy, yet you are afraid to specify. Bad joss man, let it go...

Joe, I contacted you over the winter to talk about a trade for my 29 topaz for a CH 31. You could not of cared less about working for my business. You couldn't be bothered. i contacted composite Yachts and spoke with Jake, who put together a great deal for me in minutes over the phone. unfortunaltey for me, I could not swing it, but that was not Jake's fault. A few months ago i called your office to look at a 24 cape horn. They sent me to your other facility, I guess a warehouse. They knew i was coming. When i got there, no one was there, the gate was locked and I could not see the boat. i drove over an hour for nothing. i would never do business with cardinal yacht sales. Just my 2 cents. For a Cape horn, i would gladly drive a bit furthur to composite Yachts. I guess you are still bitter that Sal did not buy a CH. You should get over it, or find another business. Try stand up comedy!!!!
Well I'm sitting here looking at this thread. I tried to difuse some of the heat and point it in another direction. I hoped to take a higher road and make a usable topic out of what appears to be a bad moment surfacing and the bullet couldn't be put back in the gun.
Joe I sense your frustration. Seeing you take a shot like that sets me back a bit. I have never seen a slam do anything but make the slammer look bad. Hell I'm captain Lightning Rod some days. Somebody slams me and next thing I know I have a dozen pms in support and afew new bookings or sales.
We're sales people. You with boats, me with various products, services or even selling myself... We're not gonna close everyone. Aint gonna happen. Even close friends we wont close all the time.
When I was peddaling plastic hard, I was tight with a lot of my customers. When I walked in and suddenly my display was moved to the less desirable space to make room for the shiny new kid in town, it hurt but I was careful not to slam that door or say anything that could slam it. Sooner or later that bright new display would fade and my ol trusty stuff that works and continued good relationship with the shop owner prevailed and wound back up in the "A" spot.
The particular tangent you went on is a place nobody should go. Pissing on somebody's dream never pans out well. I can remember sitting in high school. Teacher asked what are you gonna do with life. Some kids answered lawyers, doctors, politicians, brokers... I answered that I was gonna have my dream life. Fishing all over, Live in a big house or two, Have a smokin hot wife... The other kids laughed... Well I am living that dream. Some others found their dreams some didn't. I'm fortunate and appreciate having and finding that dream. I could bnever justify taking that away from someone else...
