arc--tec, go for it!!! I've been there and done that. The wedding was a close friend of my wifes. Do it, your wife will get over it. You'll deal with some crap for a while. But for me it was well worht it. Wedding was in November we crushed STRIPERS in the rips off CAPE MAY.

too bad your wife isn't like me! I blew off our 2nd anniversary dinner to go fishing. Since I've become a fishing addict.... there are many social occasions that have been passed over when the weather is right and the fish are calling!! I feel for you though.... a woman can make life tough if she feels her desires are being ignored! Offer to do something she really enjoys with her as a make up...even if it's something you really hate! That usually will soften the disappointment.... UNLESS.... she is in the wedding party as bridesmaid or maid of honour..... then you're sunk!
