Remove the pump and go straight to the battery...brown to pos. side. and rest to ground. It should come on run for a coupe of seconds and cut off. In about 2 minuets it should cut back on and run for a couple of seconds and cut off. If it does that it is in you switch or in your wiring being reversed from the switch to the pump.
