Hey Turner - Don't tell Andy but I got one bigger then that striper lure he was showing you. Matter of fact I got two. But THEY ARE NOT FOR SALE! Had them custom made by my friends overseas. 48 inches long. Stop by the booth on saturday and I will show them to you. Some say you can't troll them but I bet it would be fun trying.

We are going to pull them with a drag scale to see what the actual drag is. I don't think it is really as bad as would be expected.
By the way, we will also have the new LP reel at the booth and the Tiagra 130 LP. We are in the Big Game room (MIAMI SHOW) in the hall about 1/2 way to the end before River Marine. Hope to see you guys there.

Brian...izzat you doin' the hooking?! Can't remember his name right now. Connecticut kid, maybe before your time. Played D and became captain of NY Rangers. Him and my kid had some of the greatest youth - no, ANY KIND of games I ever saw. Case was at Taft and Brian Leach, right, Leach(?) was at one of the other privates. First time they played was in a tournament at the Taft rink - a high school with its own rink - wow! The Connecticut team hadn't lost a game in something like 2 1/2 years and we hadn't lost one for about the same. That game went to triple OT and we won and my kid scored the winner. The Taft coach came to the locker room and started asking about "21". The end of that one was a three year, full scholastic (the kid inherited his mother's brains) and sports scholarship. And man, those New England boarding schools are 'spensive!

Now, in the spirit of the thread, I heard from Roddy last night and he told me that the Zeus that I have is the LITTLE ONE! That's hard to believe, because this one is a moose! He must have one at the Miami Show, 'cause he said he was going to measure it and get back to me. This isn't a contest and I, like Whitey, am curious over how big the biggest is.

One thing that's a constant between Stalker and Legend Lures is that those things are very expensive to produce. Back when Roddy sent me mine he told me that he wasn't going to make them because of the cost. I dunno right now. Maybe he decided to sell them and maybe he just has one there as a conversation piece. I love the way they crash around back there and I am a big believer in teasers representing predator fish in and attacking the lure spread, so I like trolling them, but speaking only for Roddy's, they do pull like trucks! And like the Toad, I have had both blacks and blues, but especially big blacks, attack them on occasion. One of those blacks gobbled the Frog, then broke the 300# we had it on. It floated back up, a nice feature. The other ate the Toad, broke the same test leader and the Toad never came back up, so we assumed that he actually ate the damned thing. Man, that must have hurt on the way out!

Now a big squid? They don't get stolen and I always have a hook in them, 'cause...

The Artists, Marlin Mag Editors, The Bite capts and crew, Art Marina, World Wide Angler, Roffs Fishing Forcasting Service, Capts, mates, owners, alot of hot chicks (I love when they say "It's So Big, Is It Real" and more. Still on the hunt for something bigger. We should make this a contest. The rules are that the lure has to be in production, no one time deals (garbage can with holes in it will not count) I'll ask ADMIN if this would be a viable contest for THE SEARCH FOR THE BIGGEST LURE EVER!!!!!!!
