here's a video of the ride down the tram.. this was the only ride down i've ever taken..all i can say is that it's much worse going down the tram than up.. took my girlfriend up to the top her third time skiing.. after some convincing i got her to go down liberty bowl the last day.. after getting down it she didn't agree that "it wasn't that bad"...

big sky is incredible. i wish there was a direct flight into bozeman..

Looks like you had a great day for it. We skied 4 days I never made it up the tram we only had one clear day (the second day) where I skied off of the Shedhorn Lift and the Bowl off the Lone Peak Triple. We needed a couple of days to "adjust" before getting up top. The other guys in my group went up to the top but I am an intermediate skier so I hung back. Visibility was bad because it was snowing. They said it was scary as shit. They skied down Lenin.

I can't wait to get a few miles under me and hit the peak.

mileage is all it takes. most of getting better is breaking the ice. tough runs look a lot different when you're on em the 100th time.

..taos opens for snowboarding on march 19...plan to be there the next week....then snowbird, sun valley, then steamboat, and back to taos.
