The Big Game Menu

As those who follow the world of Deep know, that the Missus is quite the gourmet girl... She can find a holiday feast excuse in most anything and today is no exception. It has already begun. Since today is game day she has dipped into the Deep C dead vault for some of it. Fresh skipjack tataki the Missus decked yesterday has taken its place on the tv room table. The air is filled with some home blammed pulled pork in the crock pot. A couple backstraps have been tenderized ,seasoned and are destined for the grill. Soon enough it will be smothered in bernaise sauce. That pound of locally dipped peeled shrimp heading to join the tataki will be short lived. Some store bought king crab legs the size of small children are positioned by one steamer while wild asparagus waits by the other. Doritos and home made salsa flank a corner while good ol ruffles and french onion dip cover the other corner... Hot apple crisp topped with coolwhip and surrounded with Hagen Daaz shal cap this adventure.

So whats on the menu's at your house?

Deep, I am not even gonna eat now...your spread took all the fun out of Gorton's fishstick's and oven baked shoestring fries. Any chance of a FedEx SameDay delivery on some of the apple crisps with cool whip and icecream? Have a great day.

Deep fried shrimp for one, with some shrimp rolled in bacon broiled for two amongst other foods. Some chicken dip for pregame snacking with Naturals. I don't know what else, but there will be plenty of food as usual.

NOPE NONE OF THAT HERE, AS A MATTER OF FACT I UST FINISHED BROWNING THE BEEF FOR A GIANT POT OF SLOWCOOKED BEEF STEW, YEP , BEEF STEW WITH HOMEMADE DUMPLINGS COOKED ON TOP, THE POT SHOULD BE READY SOMEWHERE AROUND 6. YEP JUST AROUND GAME TIME. PERSONALLY DONT CARE ABOUT THE GAME JUST DONT WANT TO MISS ANY COMERCIALS....

Theres a boat that fish's the WMO. Big Viking named Shark Byte... One of the guys on there makes killer neeter seviche...The big skippies we get here make ok tataki if done fresh. Not really sushi quality stuff but also ok if soaked in Italian dressing and grilled... also has to be fresh. Has no value at all if it ever hits the freezer...
